Interpreting: A Dangerous Job

Interpreters can work in different fields, ranging from medical, judicial, technical and community interpreting, just to name a few.
In the above video from British Force News you can learn some information on these forgotten heroes, Afghan interpreters in the military.

For those that have studied T&I, you are well aware of the tension and dedication that is needed. Interpreters in the military are faced with the ordinary challenges you all face, only with the added risk of getting injured or even facing death.

I believe that in no way should they be described as forgotten, simply as heroes.
